Hello, I’m Mariana—a counsellor with a strong foundation in psychology, deeply rooted in neuroscience and epigenetics. What makes my approach unique is the way it blends empathy with science, allowing me to offer support that is both compassionate and firmly grounded in the latest research on how our minds and bodies work together. I help you gain a deeper understanding of the emotional, cognitive, and physiological aspects of your well-being. Together, we work to reframe unhelpful, inaccurate, or negative thoughts about yourself and the world around you, while focusing on decision-making and behavioral change. By identifying and addressing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, we can develop more effective, less distressing ways to navigate and cope with emotional challenges.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I spent 20 years immersed in psychological and neuroscience research before transitioning into clinical practice in 2018. I began this new chapter with training in Systemic (relationship-focused) counselling, which eventually led me to complete full certification in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). This journey has allowed me to integrate both relational and evidence-based approaches into my work, helping clients feel supported on both emotional and scientific levels.
